The Meaning of Shiloh
The name Shiloh comes from the Holy Scriptures in the Bible, specifically from the prophecy in Genesis.
Genesis 49:10 (KJV)
“The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.”
This prophecy points to the return and reign of Jesus Christ, the King who will rule forever.
